Whether this is your first chiropractic appointment or the first time to our office, knowing what to expect helps you feel at ease with choosing YourBack Chiropractic.

Before Your Appointment

When you book an appointment with one of our doctors, we ask for your contact information and send our patient forms electronically. You can also complete the information online. If you are not able to complete the forms before arriving for your appointment, please come 10 to 15 early to fill out the forms in our office.

We may refer you to an x-ray clinic or radiology clinic near our office for x-rays.

First Appointment/Initial Consultation

Expect your first appointment to last 45 minutes. After we check you in, one of our doctors meet with you for your appointment. If you submit your patient forms prior to arriving, we will review them before the appointment. One of the areas where our doctors set themselves apart from other chiropractors is that they perform an in-depth review of your medical history and symptoms in addition to the physical examination. Many people are surprised with our approach because we have a whole-body perspective. While most doctors only focus on the area where you have pain, our team understands that pain in one area is related to dysfunction elsewhere in your body. Everything is tied to your nervous system, and our team looks for interferences that are linked to your symptoms.

A thorough examination from our doctors include:

Our doctors review their findings with you and recommends a comprehensive treatment plan. We encourage you to engage in the process to get the most from your chiropractic care at YourBack Chiropractic. The more involved you are in your own care, the greater the benefits of chiropractic treatment.

Follow-up visits are shorter than the initial visit, typically 15 to 30 minutes. Our doctors use the same approach as your first visit. They will ask about your symptoms and overall quality of life. They may perform a brief examination if you have new concerns or limited improvement.

YourBack Chiropractic does not direct bill to insurance companies. We do provide receipts to all patients who have insurance. We do accept direct payment for motor vehicle accidents. Our front desk staff takes care of payments at the end of your appointment with one of our doctors.
